Design Dilemma
This is a monthly series where we will solve your design dilemmas.
We know that designing a space on your own can be hard, and there often comes a point where you wish someone would just come in with ideas or present you options that are within your budget. If this sounds like you, then you’ve come to the right place!
The goal of this series is to give design advice that is approachable, and to solve “real problems” or scenarios that many of us face in our own place.
Things To Know
Please keep questions strictly about a room or a section of a room. Questions about lighting, window treatments, paint, decor, what do with an empty section above the sofa, what artwork to choose, kid-friendly sofas, good-looking recliners, empty nook under stairs, entry storage - are all acceptable questions.
This is a free service, so we’re not here to design your whole kitchen/room for you; that is reserved for our paid client projects. We want this to be bite-sized, not a whole makeover. Be specific on your questions, the more details we have, the better we can answer them.
I will be answering 5-10 questions per video so there will be plenty of chances for everyone.
Instructions
Complete the questionnaire to your right. Fill in as much detail as possible (you’re more likely to be selected if you provide detailed information).
Take photographs of the troubled space (Include both vertical, and horizontal photos of the space. Remember to include a couple of wide shots to show as much of the space as possible. Remove anything you don’t want to be shown in the video, such as family photos).
Fill the subject field with “DESIGN DILEMMA - Your Problem”.
