In module two, you’ll learn the foundation. Here, we’ll cover the seven design principles and everything you need to know about colour and lighting. We’ll go beyond just colour theory, but also how to develop colour palettes, learn how different colours work with one another, undertone and masstone, how to use neutrals, mixing woods, and colour rules.
You’ll also learn the importance of using texture, how to choose paint, what types of window furnishings to choose, and also some of the most common decorating mistakes so you can make some quick fixes.

In module three, we’ll get our hands dirty and get into the actual process of decorating your home. I’ll cover the tools you can use to make a floor plan (no technical background required!), how to layout any room, how to zone big rooms, and open plan spaces. We’ll also refine your inspiration and turn it into a design concept, learn how to source for beautiful furniture pieces, some buying tips to stretch your budget, and visualise how things will look together with a digital board.

In module 4, I’ll teach you how the pros (designers, decorators, stylists, etc) style a space and how you can do it too, realistically. This includes color, texture, contrast, and the idea of red thread to make a space feel more pulled together. We’ll also go through still-life styling, so you know what makes a good arrangement, from bookshelf, to sideboard, to styling cushions, and mixing low and high end items to create a luxurious feel without breaking the bank.
