Transforming a cold and empty apartment into a warm and modern space with a smart multi-purpose room.

 Shop The Look

What was previously a cold, grey and empty apartment has been transformed into a light and airy modern space.

The living room features a neutral colour scheme accented with warm oak tones dispersed throughout the space. Floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains filter natural light during the day while roller blinds can be pulled down behind them at night for complete privacy. The coldness of the tiles has been broken up through the introduction of soft texture in the ivory rug and life has been added to the space through various potted indoor plants.

While the dining room has a darker, more masculine theme, it still ties in with the living room through the repetition of olive green accents in the velvet chairs and the use of marble in the coffee table and dining table. A dramatic pendant light hangs over the table.

The multi-purpose room features a DIY beech desk with plenty of storage as a work-from-home space. The space is truly multi-functional as it also features a single sofa bed perfect for an overnight guest.

The bedroom continues the light, airy style through the cream velvet bed frame, brass sconce lamps and an oak bedside table.

The balcony features an outdoor dining set with a vibrant green Bird of Paradise plant as a backdrop. The portable lamp makes it a space perfect for entertaining friends and family during the day or evening.
